Lessons Learned

Today as I was watching America once again save Michelle Chamuel on The Voice, I got distracted while trying to reach something on my top closet shelf without looking and of course I knocked a few things over and then to top it off my hockey helmet came crashing down on top of my head. *Ouch!*

Lucky for me I have a strong head and the helmet wasn’t too high up so no concussion will ensue. However, it did remind me of two things. One being that you shouldn’t blindly try to reach things or pull on them without looking when you’re vertically challenged. The other thing it reminded me off was a lesson I learned on a t.v show most children of the 90’s will remember called Boy Meets World.

Come to think of it, it actually brought back a few life lessons that still hold true, so I thought I should share them with all of you wonderful readers who so kindly stop by my blog and encourage me to continue on my Cookie Fiend trek with all your views, shares, likes, comments and follows.

Boy Meets World Life Lessons…

About Life:

“Life’s tough, get a helmet”

About Love:

” I believe that when you find love, you hold on to it and cherish it because there is nothing finer, and it may never come again. ”

About Friendship:

“Friendship for example, is a real gift. It’s given with no expectations and no gratitude is needed, not between real friends.”

“We’re all a little weird and when we find those people whose weirdness is compatible we join up with them and fall into a mutually satisfying weirdness and call them our best friends.”

About Family:

“You don’t have to be blood to be family”

About Me:

“I don’t know what’s going to happen to me. But I do know that I’m going to be a good person who cares about people.”

About My Next Challenge 2You & Me:

“Believe in yourselves. Dream. Try. Do good.”
