So it’s finally here, my last training session with RubySlippers, and the beginning of training unsupervised…I’m not going to lie, it scares me, but the possibilities are endless. I’m happy for RubySlippers, and hope she’ll have a blast on her cross-country adventure! I know how scary it can be to uproot yourself, but I also know how great it feels to take a leap of faith and find out you can stand on your own two feet and make it anywhere.
Life is full of changes, some great some not so great but in the end the important thing is how we deal with each change and adventure. The path less travelled and venturing out on a ledge without a safety net are never easy but there is much to be learned from all the choices we make and there’s always fun to be had once we make friends along the way. After all, life is not about the destination, it’s all about the journey we take to get to where we are meant to be.
So today for old times’ sake RubySlippers shows up without a pen, and rummages around the trainer counter to find one. She mentions how she has like a million of them in her locker…and something about not wanting smartass comments about her slight pen hoarding problem *LOL* With the formalities out of the way, we head downstairs for a very different training session.

My Challenge 2U:
- Be Kind
- Do Good
- Train Hard
- Smile Often 🙂
- Look for the bright side
- Don’t underestimate yourself
- Don’t give up, you’ll try again tomorrow and it will be better
- Choose to be happy and make the necessary change in your life to achieve it
Let go of what burdens you most and stop pointing fingers and blaming yourself or others for your current state in life. Instead use that energy to live your life to the fullest and to change it for the better! Remember nothing changes if nothing changes, so change! You owe it to yourself to lead the best life you can, to be as strong as happy and as healthy as you can possibly be! So get out there and start living and loving your life because life’s a gamble and you should be all in!
Like RubySlippers says: “You’ve got this!”
