Some Days it’s Sundays

Somedays it's Sundays

We don’t like to think about it, but life is too short sometimes. People we know and love often leave this world too soon and leave us with so many plans of things left undone.

There are those who like myself, find solace in their faith, and belief that there is a better place where in time you’ll meet again. Even so, saying goodbye and letting go is never easy.

We don’t like to think that those we love might someday go before us. It’s even harder to imagine that our lives might be cut short as well.  It’s not wrong not to think about these things, but sometimes it’s a good idea to give it some thought. Not to depress yourself, but to remind yourself that life is unpredictable and fragile, but worth living while you have it.

So think about all the people you love in your life and think of how you’d feel if they were to leave too soon. Then make sure what time you have with them is memorable.  Remember and honor those who’ve gone before you & hold on tight to those who are still here with you.

Sending each and everyone of my @Imacookiefiend readers positive thoughts and best wishes on your trek through this life.  May you live each day as if it were your last by loving and living fully, by being kind to yourself and others, by training hard and getting healthy, by working hard and worrying less, and by remembering to take a day to sit back and relax with those who make your life worth living!

As for me, well I’m off to take some of my own advice because as it happens, some days are Sundays, and Sundays are my favorite days!  So It’s fishing time wrap-up, then off to family movie night with home made pizza and my dad’s delish cheese cake with cherries on top!  Can hardly wait & so totally worth passing up on my Starbucks cookie today 😉
