Sometimes you just need to stop, take a break and meditate. Except if you’re lost on some scary dead end dusty road, then don’t stop, just double back on your tracks and meditate later on why you keep trusting Siri.
I had forgotten how great it feels to just forget everything for a few minutes and focus inwards instead. Luckily, my foray into Twitterverse somehow landed me on @Oprah and that particular day she had tweeted about her #21DayMeditationChallenge. I took that as a sign from the universe that it was time to balance things out and focus not only on training hard to tone up my outer self but also to strengthen my inner self.
The great thing about this challenge is that each day’s meditation is around 15 minutes so time wise it’s easy to work them into your day. If you miss one, then you can listen to it the following day as they are available up to five days after the original post date. You can also do them more than once a day if you want to and they’re free, so it’s truly a win-win situation.
Remember working out is great. Training hard is good for you and so is eating healthy. But there’s more to you than just your body. So feed your mind, and love yourself enough to take some time to focus on you, to meditate and let go of all the stresses of your day and reconnect your mind, body & soul.
